About a week or 2 back I got some random phonecall from a rough sounding woman with a hoarse voice, could barely understand her bu she asked if i was selling my van as her brother (something to do with a scrap yard!?) wanted it. I couldn't really understand what she was saying so politely ended the phonecall.
The joys of being self employed and having a publicly available phone number

I was on the A14 near Ipswich a couple of Saturdays back and a guy waved from his blue MK5 which had a bit of colour coding & a couple of big spots on, I just automatically waved back   a first for me

i always make the effort to tip the nod to some one in a transit

if i think there maybe a member on ere or work in the home delivery logistics

but dont if there in a sphinkter or hoevano or summit

but most of the boys that do the same graft as me drive transits so its all good :D :D

I do a lot of waving, usually with one finger at other road users. I always let commercial traffic out unless it's a non Ford panel van :!: as they often extend the courtesy. :)
