faded wheel arch trim and bumpers

Postby local nick » Sat Jul 26, 2008 9:33 pm

aye up. nice day today so i decided to mint me van up. give it a good wash g3d it and brought it back with autoglem. this made the plastic trim look even more faded so instead of smothering them in silicone based crap ie back to black, i had a tip from a mate whose into veleting and useing a rag rubbed generous amounts of crunchy peanut butter into them and f*** me they come up like new no stickyness no nowt. neighbours looked at me a bit daft like. try it see what you think.

Oh dear not another peanut butter job lol.

I detail/valet for a living and use Autoglym Plastic Conditioner its the trade range of bumper care only its thicker and has like a grit in the liquid its what i have found to be ebst for the bumpers on the connect.
