Just acquired a new connect crew cab and checked the service prices at a main dealer in the midlands. My next service (60k which is apparently a significant one) is due. Well impressed with the price quoted £250 parts, labour and VAT.

If turns out to be true I may give to them each time .

According to the service schedule, a 2005 model with 100K ( equivalent to 7 years old, or 7 x 15K miles = 105K), and a (new :?: ) model with 60K on the clock (equivalent to 4 years old) needs a major service, rather than a standard service. If the preceding service was a standard one, then the next one due is a major one.

The standard service is lots of checks, and an oil/oil filter change but no major work.

If someone's had a £250 quote 'all inclusive', that sounds to me like a standard service. This price won't be for the major overhaul work Bloomy posted earlier, so I would check what you're getting for your money.
