Postby nitroman » Fri Mar 10, 2006 2:18 pm

i run a 125 ps swb thats chipped and has a nitros system fitted (not joking !) i now wish to alter the gearing as i run out of revs at 115 mph and i need a taller 1st gear to aid tracton off the line.this aint a wind up and by the way it all works really well and seems reilable for the 2 years its been modded!!

mk6 fwd :D
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

Sounds a great van, give those BMW drivers a lesson on the motorway !
Have you modified the suspension at all, as I'd be interested to know how you keep it on the road. Over about 75 my van is as stable as a Reliant.

no the suspension is standard, it seems really stable but even the standard 125ps version will do 112+ on a good day so i guess its designed to go that fast eh!! and yup theres nowt better than blowin off all but the most powewrful cars!!
