This van, although still with britsh plates,is here in Malta. What attracted me is the rear 1 door, never seen one on a Mk6.

  THATS A COCOZZA VAN

all the way from sunny airdrie that van mate
and the chassis its built on is ex bt

thats a rare spec even for scotland as its serving windows are on both sides,
and its a softy ice cream van, but reckon that van was originaly built for a english customer

and exported that way it wouldnt be any good as a normal ice cream van, no shelfs for ciggies or bread and milk

its a cracking big looking motor 8) 8) reminds me of my mate barrys old van :D

reason i say its ex-bt guy is it looks like a 03+ model going by the grill badge
and the drivers seat having the moveble headrest  most of there vans were built

on ex bt chassis cabs but could have been a brand new build but pretty expensive unless the original customer supplied the van to cocozza`s for them to build on  but the chassis extension is the norm for them. my mates van is a top half conversion on a mk6 lwb
panel van but the one before was built on a ex BT chassis and was extended

This van has been bought recently by the transport autority inspectors, who use it to stop suspected vehicles and mot them on the spot.

These photos were given to me by a police friend who was the the mind after the police livery, and can see the trails of the stickers.

This transit mk6 is as bought from UK probably from an auction.

and as it is now.

The short wheel base with trail double checkers.

The medium Mk6 still in GB plates.

Na mate i know this vans history, Its a 2005 built at cocozza's from new for a guy called Scott Brown who ran it in around the west coast and it ended up working static at Barshaw park in paisley, it then went down south portsmouth i think briefly before a guy called Mario from malta came over, bought it and drove it back to malta. he has since refitted it out inside and fitted continental style fold back serving windows so they open right up.
Mk5 hi roof, Connect t200, Mk7 jumbo ice cream van
