Looks better in the pics than in real life

Paid £300 with 2 months T&T

Needs a fair bit of patching - but i'm treating her as an on going project and a learning curve.

Ain't done welding for a while - so excuse my efforts!!



Did some rust removal and cutting today.

then cut templates out of card - then cut them out of a bit of steel shelving i had lying around in the garage.

Then one of the back lower wing

was like this....



Cut all the bad metal out - and tack welded her up........had a bit o trouble wi me welder settings but got there in the end!





Same the other side now!!

Welding looks ok to me I have seen many poorer efforts than that on this site

Done a bit more - cut out bad bits in floor and temp fitted new floor - tempory cos i need to do a bit of welding on rear chassis.
Also done - cleaned up arches and primed bottom half of van.

Just after a set of wellers or similar now - but will buy some cheapo wheel trims till some turn up.
