They don't make the clear rear lights anymore.

So what style of rear light do you want then, you could always replace the coloured lens with clear ones and put coloured bulbs in. I'm trying to make these as part of a new busness venture so any feed back will be welcome.

you'd need a reflecter in too  or it would have to be put separately in the bumper or something :D

I look exactly those of the ford transit of big geof ; version 1 or 2 i think for mk5 or 4.
If I do not find them, I think that I am going to try to make them, in epoxy resin for example, from a mould of originals.

but if I understand well what you say, you would create and sell these parts, for a futur bisness ?

mk5 i would say version 1 or 3 :D

how do these work for side vision :?: what i mean is can you see the light from the side of the van - as i think its a legal requirement :)

and also would you need to mod the metalwork on the van so the back of the lights would fit ok :?:

I think I'll end up making mk5 version 2 any way ,basicly because version one is too tight for space. Units for the mk6+7 will prob be the same variations on a theme due to space needed by the fittings. I'm hoping that these will be avaiable by january.

I'm trying to research this as much as possible which is why I don't have any pics of the product . I need as much feed back as possible before I waste any more time, money and effort making things that won't sell.

mate if you do start getting these parts made up, quad lights, bumpers etc. you will get a serious amount of interest once you have made a few samples. like you said there’s not a lot of mod parts for transit vans but what ever is out there normally gets grabbed pretty quickly. also how about some side skirts?? And a rear splitter??

You can put me down for some quad lights
Cosworth front and rar bumper
And some m3 side skirts
All for the mk6 8)

How much do you think a kit like that will cost once you get them made up??

also like mpuk said its about time someone actually done this. :!: :D

i agree

if there were replacement bumpers (cossie style), side skirts and quad lights available for a MK5 lwb i would buy them straight away, as long as quality is good
Just bought my transit, going to make it presentable to carry equipment and tow cars for my modified car club
