I don't like the mk6s (I havent driven a 7) and before anyone says anything yes I have driven a couple over long distance, but they beat all the competition from similar years that I have driven (ok only a maxxus...) but I far prefer my mk5 to the later ones except the lack of power.

Naahhh

I have spent enough time in mk6s to decide I dont like them (except the power). I find the mk5 more comfortable (especially with my fiesta si seat) but it is much noiser and slower granted.

i love the look of the mk6,and it is quiet a comfy ride, trouble with the transits i find are the seats are a bit soft,my work van is a renault master and the seats are great, don,t matter wether i,ve been 50 miles up the road or southampton and back, don,t feel like i,ve been in it long, proberbly why i need a larger van,the master is quiet a large van, even tho its a mwb,i think the lwb transit is about the same size

Yeah I never had any trouble with the seat in the Vauxhall Movano (same van), spent ages sat waiting for the recovery truck to tow me, and never got back ache

I hated the drivers seat in my old works master (51 plate), although I drove a hire movano 55 plate and it was quite comfy but my seat in the mk7 is much comfier than the master and mk6 put together.

and the mk7 is slightly better mate  :D

i have driven a few vans since i passed me test (3years ago) i had a renault traffic 56 reg for about 2 months and i gotta say it was 1 of the most uncomfortable takeing 1st place is the vw t4. in the 3 years i have only owned transit vans have had 3 smileys now on my 1st mk6. but i have driven the old sprinters, t4, the new and old vito, the maxuuuussusususususu where the speedooo is in another time zone and other vans which i cant think of. what im trying to say is the transit is the best in what ever way you look at it. its a all round super van!! some vans have some good things and then miss out sh*t loads of other driver comfort features. but where as the transit its just got better.
like mark said the mk3,4,5 was a bang on van and the mk6 got better and now the mk7 :!: ......
