Wheels

Postby madmax » Tue Mar 29, 2005 6:15 pm

Yep have thought about adapter plates but prefer not to, Dragway Wheel here in Oz have made a set of billits and i have the tech diagrams from them, but the cost is quite high.

looks like i will have to pay the price.

thanks anyway

hi Retired boy racer -welcome to the forum!!! :D

no problem thats the general idea :D

there used to be a red mk2 pickup with 14" 6stud wellers in rotherham- not far from you!!! i dont know if they were 5stud redrilled or genuine 6stud!!!

I wonder if it is possable to re-drill a set of alloys to fit 6 stud?? :?

thanks for the welcome Luke.

I wouldn't have thought that they would have been able to re-drill alloy wheels without it weakening the basic structure - shame though there's plenty of 5 stud to be had in both 14 & 15"

suppose it's just a case of keep looking & being in the right place at the right time

I guess I'll just have to make do with the 15" alloy wheel trims for the time being.

I'm also after a chrome ladder like on the day vans if you hear of one going
