LPG FUEL GAUGE

MY LPG FUEL GAUGE IS STUCK ON QUARTER FULL ALL THE TIME I HAVE CHECKED THE FUSES AND ALL SEEM FINE THE PETROL GAUGE WORKS FINE ANYONE ANY IDEAS

maybe the lpg tank sender is no good

its a mk6 2.3 :) dont know what sytem tho :?
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

so it is probably a factory build then :) does it have the lpg guage in the cluster with the petrol guage :?

THE PETROL GAUGE IS ON THE RIGHT OF THE CLUSTER AND THE LPG GAUGE IS ON THE LEFT ALL WITHIN THE CLUSTER YES

If it's factory fitted on a current shape transit it's a necam coletec system

we've had a few issues with the gauges caused by the little voltage controller module in the bottom of the instrument cluster and also some caused by poor condition of the electrical connections on top of the LPG tank. IIRc the sender unit has been known to stick inside the tank too, especially if the system has been subjected to contaminated/poor quality LPG.

IF IT IS THE VOLTAGE CONTROLLER ARE THEY EXPENSIVE AND ARE THEY DIFFICULT TO FIT .

It's fitment is quite easy, it slots into the back of the instrument cluster.

Cost wise, i seem to remember they cost a fortune!
and most parts departments will probably have trouble finding a part number for it, :(
