Hi

Can anyone tell me if a smiley front grill from a MK 4 will fit a 1989 MK 3 transit and if so what is involved also what is involved with fitting a 2.5 turbo engine to a non turbo 1989 MK 3 will the gearbox fit etc etc

smileys are mk5's btw :wink: and the gaerbox should be the same for a turbo and non turbo Di :D

Isn't the clutch plate bigger for the turbo something like 10 inch iirr?

nope clutch tis the same or at least when i ordered one last it was :D
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

I brought a new clutch last year and the guy at ford said it was a bigger plate :? , but then again it was ford :?

i think you will find there are 2 different clutches one a heavy duty the other a normal :D both fit either td or n/a :D i remember there being 2 choices and there was only £10 in it :?

i think your spot on, seem to remember it was very little difference in price
