Hi all
Engine turning over but wont start.I ammusing the auto box so maybe something there is not allowing it start.
We will get there eventually.Alot or head scratching ahead.... :evil:

mine was the relays for the pump and the injectors i had the wires on the wrong way - other than that started up 1st proper try :D

are you getting a spark :?:

No spark.
Put the battery on charge over night to make sure it has proper voltage.....

Are those rims the one used on the mk7 tranny? they are cool 8)

About the power steering , somewhere here there was a conversion to an eletric type pas, and the standard transit box was not modifed. only the shaft column and the pedal box was modded. :idea: I think it was a system off an Opel corsa or similar.

out of interest: how much did you paid for that engine roughly? here that would be in lot of thousands :cry: :cry:

bought a mk3 front end complete to sort steering.Wont be fitted for a while though.
I bought a granada complete with the engine.

fitting windows behind driver and passenger doors for rear passengers also made a modern transit bulkhead fit to separate the passengers from the back.
