I have a towbar on my campervan and thought I would use this to attach a bike rack - can anyone advice what make and where to buy one from suitable for Mk 3 transit?

You can pay anything from about twenty five quid for a folding rack which holds 2 bikes, up to £300 for a pukka job which will hold 4 bikes.
What sort of thing are you looking for, and how many bikes do you need to carry :?:

My dad has one made by Thule who make roof racks. It just clamps onto the tow ball, very easy to use and doesn't mark the back of your car. I presume he got it from Halfords, but you can probably get them online.

We used to have one that was attached to the towbar, but you could still tow a trailer with the bike rack on as well. There was a bracket behind the tow ball, that the bike rack dropped onto. Wish we had kept this one!!

We have a bike rack that we havent used in years (but I want to keep it for the moment

Basically there is a plate (probably about 3/8th) that bolts in behind the ball which stays on and hopefully disuades people from hitting you up the rear end. Then 2 arms bolted on to this with 2 bolts each (allan headed cap screws) and that seemed to work pretty well!

Well i managed to buy off fleabay a witter bike rack that fits onto a bracket behind the towball and taken off in seconds so job done.....or so I thought :(
I was given the assurance that the towing socket all worked ok so did not check it out untill I tried out the bike rack and light board (which is new). None of the lights work and im in a bit of a panic now to get sorted before our holidays end of next week. Does anyone know the colours of cables on 1990 MK 3 T100 LWB on right rear light for LIGHTS, BRAKE LIGHTS, INDICATERS, etc so I can do a quick rewire as have no manual.
Thanks for help good Buddies :D

Just been told that I need an audible relay for my indicaters - is this true as I have also been told that campers are like commercial vehicles and dont need them? :(
