You've hit the nail right on the old head there Andyg, the traffic lights where it happened were at the end of the M50 motorway. You say there is a Mod for this? The dealer hadn't a clue what it was.

Typical useless dealer that probably ignores all the important customer "concerns" as Ford like to call them

hi i dont know about that gearbox but would say the manual is ok for round town clutch is light ive got a 100ps and love it but if you could i would go for 125tdci supposed to fly and the hallmark has aircon to wish i could get one in silver hmmm

Travelling to Cork tomorrow (approx 160 miles), to check out a 05 T350 Hi Roof 115 with 30,000 miles on it. Unfortunatly no A.C. , but nice and clean. Will probally drive it home on Sunday .
Any advice on things I should look out for

for what you will pay for that i would think you can get a pre reg hallmark delivery miles on it! but if you need that size van then go for it!

thats much more of a working van the 350 feels so much more sturdy and rugged whereas the f.w.d. feels like a fiesta

OK folks, I went to look at the 350, but it was well hacked, no electrics, and too hefty for what I need.
So I got a 05 (Nov) T280 Med Roof with only 4900 miles , and all the electrics (windows, mirrors, and CD) . It only has the 90 HP engine , and i was a bit worried about lack of power, however I drove it back the 160 miles in 3 hours (inc stop for tea) and just over a quarter tank, I'm well pleased, it handled great, and still has the new van smell, and 18 mths left on the Ford warranty .
So thanks everybody for all you replies, I'll be a regular visitor here from now on. I'll be adding; A bar, Spots, and some extra speakers to start. Talk to you all soon....

T260 T280 are front wheel drive T300 comes in either front or rear wheel drive and T350 upwards are rear wheel drive

Mine's a '54' reg. 350 LWB hightop but it's FWD? (125 ps, 2.0 ltr TDCi) wasn't too keen at first but it's fine now I'm used to it. Goes well-very well! has all the extras (yes ALL!) and to make Belly jealous it's silver Gone in for a service today so I'll be poor later

No it's defo RWD.

T280 is just the load capacity! With the 90ps engine it can only be 2.4 with a 4.63 rear axle (on that model anyway!).
