Frontier Campervan

Just bought a great 1989 (F Reg) Transit Frontier Campervan, 2.5 diesel.. mk 2 I think? Rarely see anything re this model on the web. Any information to a novice would be really appreciated. Such as who did the conversion and has anyone a handbook for this model I could purchase. Also what make of engine...any info would be greatly appreciated.

F reg will be a mk3 and your engine is a ford 2.5di

Just checked the log book and it was first registered in August 1988 and described as Ford Transit 80 Popular 2496cc. So is it still a mk3? Would love to get hold of an owners book if anyone knows where I could buy one.

Owners mauals for camper conversions can be as rare as rocking horse poop
However instuctions for things like your fridge and zig unit etc can sometimes be found
The base van is covered by a Haynes manual (86 to 99).

Could it have been an Auto-trail conversion? They still use the Frontier model name.
