Im about half way now with the underneith of the van eliminating the surface rust and painting it in Gold Rustoleum what a task! but looking good will get some pictures up soon :D

thanks pal, the third coat was a rush job the thursday before and I'm not 100% pleased with it so will be giving it a fourth coat later, its shiny though and looks clean. Just make sure you dont do it in direct sunlight as it drys too quickly and doesnt get chance to level out

Thanks for the advice but as Im only doing the underbody should be ok. lay back under the van looking at the paint work and fell asleep :lol: Wife had a good laugh and made me a strong coffee

I rollered most of the Rustoleum on and tried some clear laquer on a small part there was no reaction at all so I put 3 more coats on what a lovely deep shine 8) thanks for the comments

I have cleaned out all the sections of the underneith from rust and treated with rust eater and paint. I have welded in some sill gauge sheet steel and painted.
