with a torque spanner !!!! i have 2 of em both are 15mm not much use to me we got them free with machines we have bought in the past

What have you been told about doing everything up with the impact gun!

Get a set of these to go on the end of the torque wrench.

Typing my reply at the same time, those were the parts I was talking about although Crowsfeet are open.
Good point about the air gun usage, that was what I was getting at with over use of airtools.

Well since you have two and don't use either ........you have my address (actually serious about this as I have many tools I have yet to use or only used the once like the 16mm spanner)

I did some searching and only could come up with flare ends for attaching to a Norbar torque wrench, so perhaps that is a way around this by buying Crowsfeet though the clearance still might not be there.

I take it yours dont have the 'hex' slots then Mark? its a pain in the ed when they dont!

Tourque spanners are ok, I have a full set of them, but they are a pain when they slip...which they do frequently!

Correct, no hex slots.
I don't have any vibration or clunks so they must be ok, I know for sure they didn't go back in the same orintation as they came off and no extra vibration as occurred (gear stick wobbles a bit when driving but not bad enough in my mind to really worry about as it is the same as before the clutch change) since the prop was re-attached, the judder has all gone so all is very smooth since the clutch change. The prop fitting was a nice tight and square one so bolt 1 in the same hole as it came off etc doesn't appear to have mattered in my case.

they are just soo much easier than taking your knuckles off with a hand ratchet any way i have found the torque setting on the thing now so i dont over do it

4 post ramp,nut runner,transmission jack, and a spare 25 minutes thats all i need our normal supply and fit is £160

not sure about that as i bet there isnt many people with a pit on their drive mines in the garage

last time i hired one i ripped the track off and swung it thru someones garage thank god it was coming down anyway im sure i can talk a builder i know into doing it


water table eh? dont know what the situation is with that it would only need to be about 6ft deep tho anyway wouldnt it??
