low outside temp

ok so i know its cold outside .warning comes up on dash,i cancel on stork, a minute later( beep )low outside temp,i cancel .a minute later low outside temp (beep). yeh getting monotonous is it not . how the **** do i stop it telling me how i wished id have stayed in bed.

If it is still under warranty Ford will update computer to stop this

I know exactly what you mean. Its because the temperature goes up in 1/10ths of a degree but it gets very annoying when it goes between 3.9c and 4.1 and back to 3.9c. I was told they could turn it off but they would have to charge me for plugging the computer in. Must speak to them next time the van goes in!

However, I have to say that the Ordinary Van has been so ordinary that it's the only thing I've got to complain about! Interesting to hear that there is a software fix, though.

Unplug a few connectors in the engine & run it then re-connect & report intermittent hesitation after an hours running - they will to do an update under warranty then
