Power steering reservoir location

Postby cook0505 » Fri Nov 20, 2009 5:55 pm

Hi,

Just looked under the bonnet of my 2000 LWB transit tipper and the power steering reservoir was jiggling about. I realised it is not actually attached to anything and I cannot figure out where it is supposed to be bolted to. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank.

Yes it is a smiley. It is already in the position, maybe the housing is broken. The housing on the reservoir seems to be metal but on the air filter plastic. Probably can fix with an angle bracket or sonething.

I know there are 2 different PAS fluid resevoirs, but they are both plastic.

Mine fits on to the side of the air filter with a tapered traingle sort of thing and its then got a single screw to hold it in place
