95 transit clutch

Postby thebeach2008 » Sat Dec 26, 2009 7:32 pm

ho evryone
merry xmas
i have a 95 m plate 2.5 diesel transit
with the auto clutch adjustment, the van had a new clutch last year but keeps crunching on gear changes slightly, i dont feel that the clutch has self adjusted properly, is there a kit around that will allow me to swap it over to a manual adjustment instead, if so do you know where i can get one, also temperature has started to show cool. i have a warm top hose and cold bottom hose is that a dodgy thermostat.
ive never had a transit before but love it its had a high roof fitted so is a nice campervan, (power steering would have been good)
cheers gary

Manual clutch conversion is easy, find one with a manual pedal and steal that with the bushes on the shaft. You will also need a clutch cable for a manual adjustment one.

Its a straight swap
