Hand Break

Van has not been used in a while and the hand break seems to have stuck on any suggestions

Try going backwards, failing that get the hammer out and give the hub a few taps.

moral is if leaving van ,car what ever, for a few days leave it in gear no hand brake on, (if poss, no hills) they always stick in this type of weather, cast iron rusts very easy, shoes just rust to drums.
