Tapping noise 2001 swb

Hi guys,
i have a question that i need diognosing:
Im noticing a tapping noise coming from my engine whilst driving. i can hear the purr of the engine but have this other noise running with the revs, its like a tapping or spluttering noise?

my vcan is under warranty, but i would like to know what (if there is one) the problem is so i dont just go to the dealer and waste both our times,or for him to say its just the engine noise and send me off

its a duratorq 75ps engine with 110k on the clock.

help/info is much appreciated

I have done some searching on the forum and have a few ideas.
Gonna shoot past fords tomorrow and see what they say, then hopefully get it done on warranty.
