I know this has done the rounds lots of times but I have a question that I don't think has been asked.
I notice from alot of posts that it is generally accepted that a Bosch pump must have the numbers 145 or 146 to be succesfully fitted to a turbo with a Lucas Epic pump BUT.....I have been finding it very difficult in finding one at the right price but have noticed a company on fleaBay selling recon Bosch pumps but they are quoting the VER no. as the differential and not the 145/ 146 bit.
So question is how does bosch designate the pumps? and why are there so many? I know the DI lump came in a few flavours but the pumps are even greater in numbers.
Can anyone clear this up for me?
Thanks
