Quick Q regarding the banded steels - I want a set done for my New Beetle (I want 2" bands added I think), if you dont mind me asking, how much did it cost and where did you get them done?

i got them done by a lad in london, i posted his number in the customising section (banded steels on a transit anyone!)

its 40 quid for 13,s 45 for 14,s so i imagine youe beetle rims id be 50 each being 15,s

Cheers bud, That isn't too bad a price tbh! My New Beetles Rims are 16"s but thats still quite cheap if they were £55 a piece :)

im running the fan that came on the mk5 engine.

id be inclined to convert to the bosch pump rather than keep the epic, lot less possible electrical problems but just my opinion.

you should gain enough clearance with the mk5 fan, mine is uber close but just clears, used torub the crossmember slightly taking off in first gear till i shimmed up the mounts a bit!! :D

that crossmember and outer panel really are mint!!! 8)
