I've beed had!!! No shower tray as the floor boards look fixed in place. But I did find a bucket and sponge so I probably got the economy version!!!

Ha Ha. Was that on the list of factory opions!!

Just have a look under the van you should see the tray from there. i see the original tap has been replaced with a mixer tap as well, as that was your shower head.

Say again you got a right bargain there, was it advertised local?

Yes from a guy not living too far away from us in Swansea who only had it a year I think. I think he said that he only gone 84 miles in it over the year. By the way it was £2650 so my wife tells me and not £2500. Will check out the underneath in the morning to see if there is a tray.

I like the idea of the shower tray! Wish I had one in mine (1988 Autosleeper Frisky).

I think a sponge and bucket outside the back door is my only option.

This is amazing I have had one of these for about 3 months now and wondered all the same things???

Mine is a MKIII with a 2.0L Petrol engine and 5 speed manual box.

It still has the original brown stripe trim and pretty much the same interior layout except mine has the Paloma boiler over the cooker (which has just been sent off for exchange).

It has suffered some frost damage as I have already replaced the heater matrix, now the Paloma boiler, its had a new cylinder head also so there is a trend there somewhere.

For a 1988 van it is in remarkable condition and I have already been on 8 camping trips and loving every minute.

I have just ordered a new twin choke Weber carb kit as the original VV carb is falling to bits and needs a date with a skip ASAP. Never dreamed there was a shower tray under that
carpet, amazing, but will answer all those questions regarding the ceiling clips etc?? I still have the original shower hose and tap but thought it was for back door showers on quiet
sites ha ha!!!

Does anyone know who converted them from factory and where they were done? And is the company still in business, mine only done 66,000 miles and in amazing condition, would
be great to see others on the road!!

Hi
I have been looking at a Frontier, its an 89 petrol, just wondered is there anything I need to look out for?
They want £1600 6 months mot 5 tax.

Also what happened to all the pics really wanted to see a good example!

wow it looks unused! We did buy the frontier, its a 2l petrol with a shower!!! All seems to be present and correct, some filling down around arches and seals but not bad for 21 yrs old.

Well you done well for the price. I bought this one for 5K a couple of years back, but found it too small compared to my previous coachbuilts, so i sold it straight on after a top to tail intensive valet for a £500 profit!

I have a Autohomes manual that came with my 1989 frontier, I have scanned it in pdf format, although I dont seem able to be able to merge the pages, but its all in a folder that I am happy to email.
So if anyone would like a copy please ask.
