gear select problem

Hello, I have a 2002 SWB transit 2.0 diesel (100psi model) I have problems getting into second and fifth gear, it seems to be getting worse. Although sometimes it is fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably gear cables, have a search on here, common problem

try adjusting the cables first and 1 can stretch and 1 can compress a little which makes the gear change not so positive..do a search for setting up mk6 gearchange
