Thinking of getting one can you help?

Hi All

I am thinking of getting a 1998 Transit 80 with 106769 on the clock, what should i be looking for ? are there any trouble spots on these 2.5l Diesel vans?
anything you can think of for me to look at woud be great

1 million miles thats impressive

the engines are pretty bullet proof main problem with mk5's is rot check the front arches aren't made of filler like mine and check chassis for rot

With the engine, your looking for regular service history, but as Mark says, rugged olé lump.
