I went on looking for a few panels for berther(my mk4)
ended up buying another transit.. exact same model
i paid £800 for it and the guy is gona put it thorugh a new MOT seeing i matched his minimum bid price. Its been well looked after and lots of new parts and is good bodywise.
My old van has loads of new parts just a slightly shoddy body so its swap time for lots of bits to make up a very very relaible clean van. i will spend on this once its done.maybe alloys strong kerb proof yins like.
Im gona have to get shot of the other van though asap cause parking sh*t round here but for a few days its gona be a wall of white . Ill be gutted to see her go she has been an amazing buy..650 and practically no problems or nothing that i cant get home with then batter right with a hammer and spanner.
i would put up a piccy but i dont know how to
ill get photes up of them both on saturday when i get the other yin let ya see whit ya hink o them both.

Hehe sod the neighbours transits rule!!! I had loads of hassle a couple of years ago when i did a suspention swap on my mk1 camper on the road outside our house!! honestly.... police called twice and a patition up wich they all signed
now i have my mk1 pickup on the drive (looking a bit of a state ) but im sure they will appreciate it when it has shiney new paint.................... yeah right

my neighbours love me thats for shure,have had many a row over the years,dont speek to them next door after reporting me for dooing many diesel conversions! and now they have a big yellow twin wheel and a red twin wheel out side but i should of had high tops to realy upset them! if i had the room i would buy an old abulance and leave it to rot outside that would realy get up there pipe!

ther was a spate of booking in this street a few years back.. no trade vans were allowed in the main part of the street only around the corner howvere after just about evry van was broken into the councinil scrapped this idea thankfully.
Now we only have bother after work hours from rich doctors wanting to park their mercs&bmw so not to pay £10 a day at the hospital close bye... lol funny how £10 turns into £10 plus the taxi fair home and back into work next day cause the locals have parked their vans so close u cant get back out..... . never ever do this to a nice nurse though ever.. they make my traffic jam waits in this area more appealing .
See its not that we think we own the street cause we have vans but at the end of the day we have the biggest strongest vehicles in the street and the natives know this... there is great respect amongst the natives towards the van lords. they even watch over our babys at night bless them .
all the same im aprking 2 identical vans baring a window see how many peeps i can confuse including the wee bstards that broke into berther last week..
i dont wana get rid of her now lol

Oooooh, don't get me on nieghbours!!!! Back in the day when we only had two (!) vans, they called the police, then they tried to get the council on us for running a business from a private address (we're not council tennants however), the solicitor sorted that one, we do have a business address. Then when the permits came in, they tried to get us done for illegal parking, then they tried damaging the vans (mirrors, tyres ect) BIG MISTAKE. No we don't speak to any of them, especially after that little do we had a couple of years ago with HM VAT, when we had the whole flatbed trucks and bailiff circus, police ect up and down the street for a whole day and I stole back one of our own vans and pissed off with her putting her into hiding. They took 5, wanted well into 5 figures, we went to auction and got them back for £1,200 and I estimate the bill for the little episode (four trucks, six attendants, two police visits, four bailiffs, all of em all day, and the dog bit a policeman) to be around £3000-4000. Don't think they will be doing that again........

I think it's funny only had the one complaint about parking the van outside the house and from time to time I've had 40 foot arctics, seven and a half tonners with plant trailers and the van with a 30 foot trailer on the back.

But hay what can they do if you're not breaking laws!

i pay my roadtax and insurance so i kin park were i want.
Just annoys me i kin live there think it gives me right to park.
Anyways i just say go away if they approach me now.
2 vans + 6ft manovering space either side is well fair.
It wont be for long they moan ill park the old yin right oer from their house in their spot and the new van will take up my spot hehe. gawd im such a kid at times.

There's a couple of Johovas witnesses across the road from me and they always seem to have the whole country visiting them but not once have they said anything about me towing one of the many cars down the road so as I an park outside my house, not that the parking is mine but my van is biggest!

pml ya wana seen the face on yin o them the day as i accidently rammed my old van parkign the new yin! just maybe put a bit fear in their mind.. its got a beast toeball of desruction.
More to the point it made it all the way from rotherham via sheffield then a dodgy country road then finally back on the a1 steady at 70 allt he way to newcastle stop for grub then onto edinburgh on just £30 o deisel for 257 miles.
She no bad old gal needs a bit of work and i rekaon i want my other engine in its way more responsive and runs very smoothly latly.
Paid 800 for her with full years MOT. Id say im 60% happy with it for now.

well i did actually have to sumbit like a beatch and move her on more cause i was worried young bstardds wre gona hit here agin caus eits not alrmed. But u gona love this really hahahhaha
I parked it right outside the cheif inspectors hoose o the old bill for edinburgh like....
its a very big street with no parking restrictions and she is leagal. If they do happen to phone saying hwat ur van doing there ill say look silly C8&%
you never even came to my hoose when it got broken into so im parking it by ur boses hoose for safty.. its legal whats the problem??? maybe just maybe ill gets topped more in my new yin...
