just checkd my belt naw and ther sum play on the belt it dont seem tight enof
i can slide it back and fore the cogs,not over the teeth,
is that normal or is the tensioner gone?

didnt quite get that...do you mean the belt moves on the cog wheels???? or the belt is loose??if the first needs a new belt asap..if 2nd tighten the belt as long as belt is not worn..when was it last changed???

its loos enof to pull off the cogs,doesnt seem worn tho,but will change next weekend,
do i turn the bolt in the middle of tensioner to tightn it up?

if its that loose dont run the engine..change it before it does snap

i have a new belt herejust no new tensioner
would it be ok to use old tensioner?

just changed the belt and fitted a second battery
thye auto adjusting seems fine belt aint got no slack naw
aint started it yet tho fingers crossed ha

if the old tensioner sounds ok..should be okay but if you hear a whine then its knackered
