2000 W reg Transit Tourneo Di Turbo Idle problem + other

hello. i have a Transit tourneo Di turbo on a Wreg van drives fine but when on tick over its hunts/ rough idles. etc any ideas please. mot emissions was spot on well under 1.0 summat like 0.29

also the fuel guage reads wrong. any ideas.

does any one know about the rear heater...controls. better still any one have a spare user manual. for the beast... thanks

The rear "heater" controls could be for the rear air con, some Tourneos had front and rear air con, is this control on a pod located behind the drivers seat?

aircon only= (cold) not hot and would get fault codes read.

Might just need "leakback trim" to sort the rough idle or the injectors might even be passed their best

hello whats the "leakback trim please" the old bus has covered 292,000 miles... drives well enough though.... got 1 transit non turbo on 400,000 miles also

"leakback trim" is set electronically It balances the fuel going through the pump at idle

does the rough idle get worse over time or will it be in use for as long as she runs etc .

When were the injectors last tested

i not sure... it came in from a taxi firm to me, who had it from 18 months old... so who know but general condition shows it could of been use abuse and no oil so to speak,however i have given it a new lease of life on local runs for the family members... drove 300 miles so far... no worse or no less... its the same. it idles under 1000rpm. but when you depress throttle a bit it, helps it stabalise.
