Front Fogs

Hi everybody I know there are several threads in here regarding this fitment and have noted that the Mk6 escort and Transit fogs are the same
I have ordered the TIS disc just waiting for it to arrive. Today I went to our friendly Ford dealer on another Transit related matter and enquired about Fogs and switches guess what, shown in the parts list but marked "not serviced item in this market" they actually show
4 different configuration switches only the basic headlight rear fog control is available.
we don't get the height adjust headlights here nor do we get the panel dimmer switch.
I then checked my lovely wifes 2.0 Zetec Focus 03 model and it has the switch with Front and rear fogs and dash dimmer but is a totally different shape (almost pear shape) to the 05 transit switch so I thought I will have a look at an 05 Focus ( latest shape with the big wheel arches etc) it has the same configuration Front and rear fogs and dimmer but is a much squarer Flater switch. Now I am successfully confused. It is unlikely that Aussie foci got a totally different dash to the rest of the world. So can anybody clear up the switch myth 100%, would it be the escort with the same switch perhaps? ( which we don't get over here!!!)
and would one of you be Kind enough to either get me the part number for the non height adjustable switch with front and rear fog and dash dimmer to suit MK6 Transit as I have allready checked and the wiring is in place I can source the lights of flea bay I just need the switch.

Thanks
Ric

Just because the part shows on microcat or ecat as being not for your market, if the partsman takes out your chassis details he can still see the part number.

The ford ordering screens will allow him to order the parts, but your going to have to wait a wee while for them to turn up down there.

You will probably have been through all this, but just in case:-
Passenger compartment fuse box, fuse no. 203(20A yellow). This is on the second row from the bottom, second from the right hand side. (Note the six rows are staggered) According to the TIS and vehicle handbook for my '02, there is no relay specific to the fog lamps. Try testing for output at the headlamp switch, the frong fog lamp feed is the Orange wire with yellow tracer. Rear fog lamp feed is the green wire with red tracer

I think the front foglights do look nice, but my worries would be the dreaded stone chips, i have seen so many vans 'n' cars with cracked fogs, it just seems an expensive hobby replacing them, wouldnt it be better to get an A-bar with with some nice big driving/spot lamps :?

Righto, after a bit a cutting and Dremeling to get the moulded bits out of the bumper very carefully did'nt want to scratch the new paint ( I know should have cut then painted!!! {see thread Transit Parts UK} :( ) made a couple of little ally brackets found the leads plugged em in pulled the Rhs dash panel off changed the switch hunted down the test light switched on the ignition turned and pulled the new headlight switch BINGO we have front fogs wish I had tried em before wasting 1/2 an hour looking for the test light  anyway all good, put a 9mm ply floor in yesterday with sound deadener as used under floating floors that a mate had lying around
going to make a bulkhead tuesday night with a 500mm sleeper/bench behind the seats and a big pull out drawer under opening into the back.
Its getting there!!!! slowly
