torque settings for rocker cover bolts?

Postby shillims1 » Thu Apr 22, 2010 11:13 pm

I have replaced a cork rocker cover gasket with a new rubber one. I assume there is a torque setting to tighten the bolts to. Anyone know then?

I'm not sure, but speaking from experience those bolts are really easy to break so be careful. I done mine up until they start to feel tight but still have some give in them.
1996 Mk5 190 Luton - mostly white, but some f**ker keeps leaving little patches of orangy-brown grafitti all over it!
