im planning to change the door speakers in my 94 smiley face transit has any one done it before ? wot size speakers are they , has anyone any recomendations or things to watch out for??

ps its a hallmark with electic windows..

You can get replacement speakers they are Ford fitment 5x7\6x8. If your unsure about what that is take a look here.

I haven't tried those exact ones but have had other makes over the years and they were spot on.

If it's these then no, they can be made to fit but don't look very good. The 5x7\6x8 are made to go straight in.

Makes no difference if they are 6 x 9 if you are prepared to bend a few bits ;) afterall it is all hidden behind the door card, be a little careful with the ones that have very raised mids and tweeters though.
