central locking problems

Hi all,
having problems with central locking on my 53 plate transit 280 mwb,in the morning or after the vans been left for a while it seems to work fine,then it will lock and then unlock straight away,it won't lock on key either.I took it to my usual garage,they fitted a new motor to drivers door at a cost of £300, but it still seems to be playing up.
Hope some one can help.Cheers

check the wiring in rear doors for kinks breaks etc ,as they could be broken inside the outer cover,if you ever open doors fully always make sure you feed the cable back in as they have a habit of becoming trapped
