Took a week off work to finish the inside doing the Tees Tyne commercial run Sun 8th. Outside will have to wait, finished the seats added little foot locker & an extra little cabinet I saved from my old one. Hope the next pics will be it more or less finished inside except for toilet shower area quite a bit work still needed there.


Forgot about one of the windows bad scratch on outside will try & get that done this week

Got on with a bit of finishing not done yet but enough to go on my maiden run The Tyne Tees Historic Commercial Vehicle run from Stockton to South Shields 108mls done from leaving house to return. Inside all tiled, stained, paperd,& painted

Still a bit to do geoff but time is at a premium, decor prob not to your taste but back to the 70`s except for the tiles, had a few good comments when on show after the run at South Shields. Don`t know whether I`m going to attempt to spray it myself or get some body to do it for me

yeh keeping it original (for now) not as though I`ll be using it everyday just a few weekends over the summer vintage truck & steam rallies, didn`t go to bad on Sunday just remember to drop into low at the bottom of the hill

Got the toilet & shower bit done, wasn`t sure what to do with it because I`d took some of the board out above window replaced some of the wood work but the board I took out was a tile effect pattened & yellow so I thought I was going to have to strip the lot out & replace with something else, Before I stipped it I relpaced the part I took out with a bit of ply cut some grooves in it to match the tile effect then painted it with a tile paint & I was pleased with the result so saved me quite a bit time & work.



Now for some work on the outside need new rubber for one of the windows a bit of rubbing down then get a price for respray

Thanks solerman not done much lately put a new rubber & new piece of perspex on one of the windows done another show & had a weekend in it up at Amble & done quite a lot of rubbing down on the outside still somemore to do before I get a price to paint, but not much time long shifts just had 15days Cote ,d Zure & now got me C5 to get ready for test needs discs& pads all round a new back brake cylinder & thats before I look at it
