Not charging

Hi guys I have a 53plate 90 350 lwb hi roof I've put on a new alternater and battery but it's still not charging any suggestions?

is it just the battery light that wont go out or do you know its not charging ?

The battery light isn't even on I tested the battery this morning it was Reading about 11volts when running then it dropped when I turned the lights and stereo on

The battery light is an important part of the charging circuit, if it's not working, you won't get a charge 
You need to investigate why the light isn't working, and I would start with the small wires coming out of the alternator, or maybe the bulb itself
