Postby Louey » Tue Jul 27, 2010 8:21 am

I put these up for sale ages ago but wasn't able to post pictures up then.

I have a 12v Eber Handiwash for sale - a few minor scratches but works and has mounting/hanging bracket included - £50

I also have a 12v water heater, used for making hot drinks - It is clean on the inside - see pictures -£30

Mark, I can wait till next week no worries - you have since I last tried to sell these :D

I've never used the water boiler, but I've put a battery on charge and I'll try it out tomorrow.

for other folk, I've tried out the Handiwash and it does work.

I tried it with a litre of water and it started to show signs of heating the water (tiny bubbles around the heating element) after 4 minutes BUT the leisure battery is knackered so I'll try it off the van battery with the engine running. I know they use a lot of juice so this is probably the best way to use them. I'll let you know the results at some point today. :D

It works. It took 15 mins to boil/heat one litre of water - ran it off the engine battery with the engine on tick over! Not sure what the min water level is but a litre will make 4 or 5 cuppas 8)

I'm interested in the water heater if the sale with Madmark falls through but would you be able to post it?
