Transit Antics - A Smallish, Majorish Rebuild

I know it's hard trying to find time to get things sorted.
I've a full time job as well as other jobs for friends / family on the go so if I've got the money I haven't got the time & vice versa.
I'm aiming to get my body work done now and do mechanicals when weather changes if possible.

I've been quite busy with work so haven't had much time to do anything to the van. I've coated the majority of the underneath with brush-on underseal and that's just about it

It's now starting to rain a lot and get cold.... I wish I had a tall garage

12v fusebox arrived today. I've got my grill lights to wire in. Extra lights in the cab. Extra lights in the rear. Power inverter to go in. And possibly a few other bits.

Just the lack of time at the moment It'll be winter soon I'm hoping to get the rear door bottoms welded in (inner and outer) as well as the front wings.

Respray won't be happening unless I can get it into a mates heated sprayshop but he is demanding a little too much £££ at the moment. We'll see what happens when his work dries up

I'd like to go for either imperial blue or graphite like lukes mk2

Well I am dragging it down to Cornwall kicking and screaming, whether it likes it or not.

I've never really had a problem with it mechanically since I had it (year and a half). Just a new alternator and starter and it has been good as gold. Still, all good things eventually come to an end

Switch arrived from MinorMatt today and another heater resistor is on its way from Transit Parts Essex... New ends are crimped onto the resistor side of the cable and I'll take the dash parts off until I can gain access to the switch hopefully tomorrow. I'll need to put new ends on the switch side for sure and I guess it'll be a tight squeeze

As far as bodywork goes - I'm done Can't be assed with it at the moment. The work I have done is going bad already - I can't see the point. I am just going to keep it going as a workhorse mechanically. Tuff sh*t about what it looks like

If you dont put a final layer of lacker on and leave it in prime or filler it wil start rusting quik becose primer and filer are a bit porus so leave moist in.

Wy not give it a quik paint job whit a roller/brush ,always better than let it rust away afther al youre hard work.
