Uprated air filter

Does anyone here use or recommend an uprated air filter for a 2.0 tddi mk6 transit?

I was thinking a k&n or pipercross panel filter and modifying the airbox to allow better airflow as I'm due to get it remapped.

before getting it remapped make sure you have a intercooler fitted first if its a 75ps and block the egr..whos gonna remap it for u? they will adavise what filter to fit

it's an 85ps. Me and a mate were gonna send our ecu's to vantuner sometime soon. Does anyone as such do an off the shelf intercooler upgrade for these? If not I'll get one made.
