Indicator Problem 2005 Transit

Hi All,

I bought a 2005 (on an 05 plate) 135 T 350 Car Transporter earlier this week, when I bought it the right hand indicator refused to work (which made driving it 200 miles home in the dark fun ) , The hazard lights all work fine, they all light up when you hit the alarm remote, and the left hand indicator is fine. When trying to use the right hand indicator there is absolutely nothing, no flasher relay, no dash warning light and no external indicator lights. I checked both fuseboxes today and all fuses are fine (even though I haven't a clue whether the left and right are on seperate fuses as I have no handbook - I'm assuming they are on the same 30 amp fuse under the bonnet that I pulled and the left indicator stopped working), so I assumed it was the switch, I've replaced this and it's exactly the same?????? I have to MOT the beast next weekend so any ideas or suggestions would be very welcome.

Thanks for that, which confirms no seperate fuse for indicator etc, and I know it's not the switch . . . anyone aware of any common faults on these?

There's been a few threads recently that were related to the relay, might be worth having a look at those threads first.

Relays ok . . . so now an afternoon of ripping the wiring to bits, and then I've got a new window reg to fit, followed by a good clean and polish, fitting of some stripes (and later in the week reflective decals), replace the stereo and then get some pics up!

Thanks guys - problem now sorted, and I would never have found the relay box without the info off here, and being pointed to it!

The main live to the right hand relay had corroded clean off, my local breaker has a mint relay box (I saw it this morning, but didn't get it as I didn't realise how bad mine was) so I'm picking that up tomorrow. In the interim I've switched the wiring to one of the spare relay points and soldered all the wiring and I now have right hand indicators

Also replaced my drivers side window reg - bit of a pain to do but done now.
