2010 Transit key fob

Just had my new Transit delivered and the key fob wont lock the doors ,salesman told me it needs driving to charge up looking at the speedo its done 40 miles any ideas ??

These keys are charged from the ignition.

been driving the van a few days now key fob still not working !! radio wont work either punch in code and thays as far as it gets wont confirm ,looks like a trip back to the dealer !!!!!

Not got trans on the dash display has it?
