hi all, looking to lose some more weight off nitrovan, thinking of getting a bonnet, side door and rear door(up n over type) cutting out the guts(middle) and skin the rest in carbon fibre.
before i begin does anyone know the weight of any of the above panels in kg ?? just want to know cos if they aint heavy i wont bother!

the carbon fibre shell sounds ok (dont tempt me cos im daft enough)
and yup it should make a difference at santa pod! its already 122kgs lighter so im guessing another 100kgs should get me down to below 7 secs to sixty!!

all depends how far you want to go ditching things like the leccy window motors central locking motors air con if it has it?? will reduce the weight a fair bit then do you need a double pass seat is single an option??? get proper perspex for the windows instead of glass etc etc no end of things to take off

I be that driver's seat is damn heavy! Ditch it and sit on a fruit crate, much lighter!! OR you could always sit on the pie warmer, don't switch it on though.
