Type 9 0.6 : 1 5th

Hi I am new to this forum, was I dreaming or is there a 0.6 : 1 5th gear available for the type 9 box if so what car / van is it fitted in? Thanks

you mean type N box on a transit???
type 9 on sierra there was a higher 5th gear set you could buy many years ago

got an overdrive 5th on a car type 9 in my garage i took it out of a y reg 2.0s capri.
had loads of type 9's but only this one with overdrive 5th

All type 9s have an overdrive 5th ? 0.82

well i never knew that only kept this gearbox as it seemed to be geared differently in top to all the other type 9's i had
