382. To answer your question.I have a Mk2 here in Australia and they are getting very rare. It's a 1978 Model XLT in very good contition. It is fitted with a 250 cubic inch(4.1litre) 6 cyclinder Ford Falcon engine with a 3 speed c4 automatic. It is fitted with XLT rims as standard on all XLTs and the 245 tyres made the steering very heavy. So I have fitted a power steering box from a Toyota Hilux,a big job I can tell you.I have owned 4 Transit vans over the years,I have a second 1 that i use for spares. This is the best one i have ever owned and although I have had many offers for it I would not sell it.I am not sure how to put some photos on this site?I don't want to talk about the cricket.
Regards Ted Brisbane Australia

390. weemcghee - 1979 Mk2 Motorhome (Caravans International factory conversion), with a later diesel engine and 5 speed gearbox. Unfortunately some tosser ran into the back of her last weekend while she was parked up, so some work to do to get her back on the road in time for the sunshine. The local garage said she was a right off, but what do they know! 8)

391. JGT - 1979 XLT, near Brisbane, Australia. Owned it 20+ years. 4.1 Falcon cross-flow (best engine Ford ever made, heaps of torque at all speeds, runs cool, 300,000km on LPG since re-build and still going strong!), C4 auto. Love the power and high driving position and handling. Drive it fast and hard and keep up with modern SUVs. Love it!!!
