i had a look at a LWB semi high MK7 at my local dealer and got jumped by 8 sales men

Did you enjoy the experience

I hung around the dealer for a couple of hours today - didn't get jumped once - wonder if they're open tommorow

Sorry to put a damper on the Mk7 but it looks like an LDV now some would say thats not bad but I still think the design of the Mk6 is better perhaps the Mk7 will grow on me. In Southampton today I saw two white vans one with a black grille and one with a white and seeing them on the road (being delivered to the docks) I definately do not like the look of them

I thought exactly the same as you but having driven the 140PS RWD I forgave it completely and like to add that, from the drivers seat it wouldn't be my problem

Theyd have to be good salesmen to get me tio part with £15000 +. If i owned a business i'd have one (or more) minus tax. This country sucks.

I'd take a Connect over a Fiat anyday. Actually theyve grown on me, not the best to look at but it could be worse, could look like the new ducato.

It's a good, tough little van that I think can take a bit of abuse I had a TDCI one for a week
The engine, no lie, could be mistaken for a petrol

The power window switching was definately put in the wrong place but worst of all was the extremely unpleasant new smell Absolutely disgusting

Oh right. Our tranny has a leak somewhere, the ply lining and the roof lining in the cab stink of damp. Nothing worse than being stuck in a smelly van all day.
