Trucks Banger Racing - yes you heard right

[Vandalism]

back in 2006 at ringwood raceway they held a 1 of series of races called Truck Bangers - as you can guess this was fun to watch, diddnt get much speed out of the trucks - like watching it in slow motion
and here are some pics of the day

ah yes the trusty old Ford Cargo - looks in good order

a bit of a rarity a Ford A Series - shame really looks in good nick

not racing but was worth a pic anyway

A series looking rather undamaged

note the petrol tank mounded behind the cab - i wouldnt like to be in the cab if it went boom

winners of the day

trucks take a good beating

the old A series again behind

the metal on that cab looks a bit too thin for my liking

What a waste! , especially the white Iveco 0813 beaver tail lorry

[Vandalism]

i agree the rear beds could have been used on somthing else but i expect the cabs where a bit rotten..exept that purple cargo
according to the net there where only 150 cargo 150 turbo's ever made and they look to be all white and be curtain siders
