Exactly the info' I needed. Give the man who first posted this another beer.! All MK6 owners should view this as 'must have' information. The fuseboxes are an impossible nightmare guessing game without it. Thanks.

Thank you :)

I would like to know if it is best to replace fuses that differ from the guide with the stated ones.
I.e I have a couple of 20amps in 15amp slot and 10s in 5 etc.

You should never ever fit a larger fuse than the ordinarily fitted one, however ford do change fusebox layouts from time to time, so this may not be fully accurate for your vehicle

Thanks AKE,

I have changed the fuses to reflect the sheet (all were lower class fuses except for the below).
I have a problem with 227 'radio ABS Mdule', it had a 3amp fuse in to begin with (which had blown) so I replaced it with the stated 5amp but that also blows.
Do you know what this fuse does and can you double check yours to see if the diagram is correct?
For some reason, before the fuse blows the oil light on dash stays on perminately. If I then use the power windows that 227 fuse blows??

Any help appreciated,
Richard

they maybe all share a common ground/earth that could be faulty/corroded/short circuited to ground, check the wiring diagram to find if they share any circuits
or earths.
