24v conversion

Postby custom » Sat Sep 09, 2006 11:33 am

right im 85 percent through fitting my 2.9v6 cossy lump engine and box are in all i got left is the wiring which is costing me 85 quid to get done by a guy who does all top bosses cars the pipes and the speedo cable then its done its very straight forward but if youve got a mk 5 smily like mine the mount info in this thread is wrong you have to get some box section and mount it to the metal where the mounts sit then fit the mount on top to lift it 4 inches exhaust was a pain as well but i got round it

Have you fitted the Cossie oil cooler? if not then thats part of it! If you have then I'll pass..

I assume you mean the brake servo pipe? it will go somewhere on the inlet manifolds/induction system, I would have thought there would be a stubby pipe sticking out somewhere along the line :D

mk3 on granadas all have ABS as standard (electric pump instead of servo) you might have to make your own connector for the inlet manifold for the servo vacuum pipe!
