Refinery's are changing over from winter to summer diesel just now - take all the anti-freezing additives out the equation and you should notice a slight improvement.

To be honest the only way you will ever know,is to calculate from actual litres put in the tank.Ignore the computer they are not reliable.Same van (140) usually get 550 to tank,best being 618 running on fumes,average 32-34 / gall.

Once running there's talk of a 10% bio-ethanol mix in diesel.
