I thought it was allowed in racing, I saw it done on a couple of my mates rally cars..

not sure about rallying - ive built a few autograss cars and i seem to remember that being a rule :)

i just dont like the idea :( - when you get a leak especially with a pumped line :shock:

Tried the fan on front of rad doesnt fit due to my grill wont back to place!

Right the f###ing starter still wont turn the engine , but when I took the plugs out it turns the engine fine! Grrrrr this is doing my head in!

thats strange :? - it maybe that taking the plugs out just makes it easy enough to turn and isnt actually the problem :!:

is the starter definatly in the right position :?: can you loosen the starter bolts and pack it out a bit with some shims then tighten back up and try it - or even bolt it up on 1 bot but move it out a bit to make sure its lined up right :idea: :?:

Mornin
Rob was right about fuel lines being run through the 'cabin area' on rally cars. Was usually Mini's because they were so low. Rules said a bulkhead between fuel lines and pax, so we used to run a tube through (sometimes an 'hydrolastic' tube, but they were v awkward because they were pre shaped ), but often a just some steel tube & a plastic line inside that.

Right ,exhaust is done, all welding in cab done and painted, tried, loosening starter bolts no difference,
What do I do with the power steering pipe work?
